Field Services and Engineering With field services staff working out of our Birmingham, Chicago and Elko facilities, Tricon® is prepared to be on your site when you need us. Our Field Engineers are trained in manufacturing and fabrication, and can help you design replacement parts that will increase service life, reduce down time and minimize maintenance costs. From small hammer tips to conveyors and chipper hoods, Tricon® can help.
Our inside staff of detailers and engineers takes your field measurements and converts them to CAD drawings. We generate CNC burning programs from the drawings to ensure precise fit-up during manufacturing. For load critical applications, we have the latest finite element stress analysis software to analyze load patterns, predict stress concentration areas and design problem areas out prior to manufacturing. Tools include:

Metallurgical Services
Tricon® employs experienced metallurgists with backgrounds including welding, steel production, processing and fabricating, failure analysis, alloy design and heat treating. In addition, we maintain a fully equipped metallurgical laboratory at our Birmingham facility. Our full range of metallurgical services includes:
