GF and GT Cut-Off Inserts
Designed for use in SELF GRIP® toolholders available from Iscar
Kennametal GF and GT inserts for cut-off applications are specifically designed to fit SELF GRIP toolholders available from Iscar®.
The original GT-style inserts are available in widths from 2,25-4,80mm for traditional cut-off applications. If you need more stability in large-diameter cut-off operations, use the GF geometry in widths from 1,60-9,50mm.
GT inserts fit into all T-Cut type integral and blade toolholders. GF inserts fit into all F-type integral and blade toolholders.
- GT inserts are T-type with no stopper. They replace single-end cutting inserts.
- GF inserts are single-side inserts and have a hard stop that seats the insert securely in the pocket.
