Kennametal's tool reconditioning process is thorough, start to finish, to ensure you the best quality reconditioned tools.

   1. Customer ships worn tools to Kennametal. 

     2. Kennametal receives tools, opens an order, and does a tool evaluation.

    3. Worn tools are reground on a 5-axis CNC machine.  

    4. Tools receive a thorough edge preparation analysis.  

        5. Pre-treatment, coating, and post-treatment processes are completed.

    6. Reconditioned tools are shipped to the customer and ready for high-productivity work!
